Fact:  South Korean pop music  has infiltrated American pop culture. After Psy's through-the-roof hit "Gangnam Style," more and more K-pop artists and groups have crossed the Pacific and made their marks stateside. Girl group f(x) "welcomed" Anna Kendrick as  as their newest member , Big Bang took over Brooklyn for  two music videos , and there's an  entire section  in Billboard  dedicated to  the K-pop scene . But, in an industry where the number of girl groups rival the number of instances in which Lady Gaga has made us go, well, gaga, it feels like all the ladies look and sound the same after a while. Perfectly executed singing and choreography with booty shorts, a cute-yet-sexy vibe, and a whole lotta hair flipping — it's like they're robots. 2NE1 CL SUCCESFULLY ENTERS THE U.S. POP MUSIC INDUSTRY AND GAINS ATTENTION

Girl group 2NE1 member CL has gained much attention in the U.S. pop music industry. 2NE1′s second album, CRUSH, had ranked number 61 on the U.S. Billboard 200 Chart and held a record for the best ranking in K-Pop. CL also worked with DJ Skrillex for his new album which will release on March 27. Billboard recently stated that they believed that DJ Skrillex’s new album, RECESS, would rank in the top 10 on the Billboard 200 chart after its release. Skrillex’s album also topped the U.S. iTunes Main Album Chart on March 18 as well. Skrillex’s song, “Dirty Vibe,” features CL along with other YG artists and producers including Big Bang G-Dragon, Teddy, CHOICE37 and more. If Skrillex’s new album does reach the top 10 on the Billboard chart, CL and G-Dragon will gain more exposure in the U.S. music industry, allowing their music careers to expand. Exciting news! The fabulous ladies of 2NE1 will be appearing on the final stage of the American reality survival program “America’s Next Top Model” season 21. “America’s Next Top Model” is filming in Korea for Seoul’s fashion week, and according to broadcast and fashion industry sources, 2NE1 will be appearing on the final stage of the show’s activities in Korea. The final fashion show of the program will take place on April 2 at Banpo, and 2NE1 will be guests at that  show. One source sated, “2NE1 was asked to be on the show because they are a representative K-Pop group and they are also well-known to be fashionistas.” This follows the news that fellow K-Pop idol group BTOB will also be appearing on the show as special judges. Tyra Banks landed in Seoul, Korea last March 21, 2014 with the cast and crew of “America’s Next Top Model” Cycle 21 to incorporate K-Pop in the 11-year-old modelling competition. MBALQ’s Cheon Dung revealed his sister’s concerns regarding her weight. March 26’s broadcast of KBS 2TV’s Vitamin will feature prevalent diseases among women in their forties and fifties, including frozen shoulders. While talking about obesity as the possible cause of of frozen shoulders, Cheon Dung began sharing about how his entire family doesn’t gain fat easily. He said, “My family is worried about not gaining weight instead of obesity. My sister, Sandara Park, even eats five meals a day, but doesn’t gain weight.” Then comedian Kim Sook made everyone laugh by saying, “The cause of married women’s frozen shoulders is overdosing on alcohol. YG Entertainment’s girl group 2NE1′s leader CL is expected to leave a deep impression on the U.S. pop music market. Following the release of 2NE1′s 2nd regular album “CRUSH,” CL collaborated with Dubstep DJ SKRILLEX on his new album which is expected to make its way into the top 10 list of Billboard’s album chart, Billboard 200.
